We love vacationing here. The people are always nice, the food is good, and the scenery is beautiful.

This place just oozes history. Built during the last expansion in 1909 as barracks, the building has been converted over to lodging, and is the center of the park. The lodging in this building is the cheapest, but I enjoy staying in the cabins for more money. The original mess hall is now a restaurant that has pretty decent food, and a good salad bar at a moderate price. The restaurant serves a lot of bison. There is also a gift shop in this building. This is one of the places that I can go and feel relaxed.I recommend this place reluctantly,as I want to keep it to myself.

An awesome point of American and Native history. Important for people to know it was just over 100 years ago when the United States was still conducting "Indian Wars'.

Outstanding! A must see for every American to learn the TRUTH about U.S. expansionist policies and how they affected the people already present who had settled on this great land.

Beautiful place and surroundings. Historic buildings -- high ceilings -- balconies -- cool, crisp mornings and evenings (in June). Few amenities (no elevator, no tv's, really weak Wi-Fi in only one part of building) . . . but, still a great place.

Thank you for preserving the history.
